As part of our (Gtechniq) ultime new car detail we offer an annual Gtechniq maintenance detail. This detail is recommended every 12 months to keep the coatings in good condition. While ceramic coatings are amazing at resisting, dirt, tar, tree sap, road grime they can only do so much and over time airbourn contaminates can 'smodder' these coatings reducing the hydrophobic effect which makes washing more diffuclt. That's why it's important to carry out this maintenance detail at least every 12 months.
